More than 30 posters from World War I will be on display through Nov. 30, 2014. During World War I, posters were used to justify involvement in the conflict and to procure men and resources for the war effort. The designs were mass produced by the government and urged citizens to join the military, buy war bonds or volunteer for the Red Cross. Guests will enjoy interpretive panels and artifacts, as they learn about the U.S. involvement in the war, information about the poster images, and the success of posters in fundraising and recruitment. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Mon.-Sat., 1-4 p.m. Sun.
