Hunter Education courses cover hunting safety, firearms, bows, wildlife identification, wildlife management, survival, game care, ethics, responsibility, and regulations. Anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 1969, must complete a hunter education course and carry a valid hunter education card to hunt in Arkansas. There is no specific age requirement to enroll in hunter education. However, the educational material is based on a sixth-grade reading level. Must pre-register and attend all three evenings.
