Jazz in the Park returns with a new partner: Art Porter Music Education. This is free, family-friendly event features jazz in downtown Little Rock. No coolers are allowed, but water, soft drinks, beer and wine are available for purchase. Bring lawn chairs and blankets or enjoy natural stone seating in the pavilion.
6-8 p.m. Wednesdays in April: Rodney Block & The Real Music Lovers (4/1); Jazz R Us (4/8); New Era Jazz Project (4/15); Stellar Way (4/22); and John Burnette Band (4/29).
The pavilion is just west of the First Security Amphitheater; the closest entry point is on Ottenheimer Drive off of President Clinton Avenue.
**In case of rain, the West Pavilion will be the alternate location for the event.
