Arkansas native John Kushmaul has been painting in downtown Little Rock for almost 20 years. In his upcoming exhibit at Wildwood Park, nature takes the front seat as an inspirational theme for his paintings. John likes to use color in his work, especially the color green, and he often uses photos that he has taken of city and natural scenes as source material. An opening reception will be on Sept. 15 from 6-8 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public.
