Jacksonville Parks & Recreation offers multiple sports leagues for young athletes--and sign-up dates are quickly approaching! Here's the rundown on their spring sports offerings:

Spring Soccer

Soccer is available for children ages 4 and up for both spring and fall seasons. A season is approximately eight weeks of games, with practices held at Dupree Park Soccer Complex. Cost ranges from $85-$95 per season, and includes full uniform and insurance through the Arkansas State Soccer Association.

Registration will be held at the Jacksonville Community Center from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Jan. 31.

Girls Fast-Pitch Softball

Girls Fast-Pitch Softball for children ages 5-16 will begin in March and include 8-10 weeks of games. Cost is $65, which includes jerseys.

Registration will be held at the Jacksonville Community Center every Saturday in February. Hours are 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Feb. 7, 14 & 21; 3 p.m. Feb. 28.

Baseball

Players ages 4-15 can sign up for spring and summer baseball organized by Jacksonville Arkansas Youth Baseball.

Registration will be held from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Feb. 14, 21 & 28.

Parents are required to show their child's birth certificate to register for any of the spring sports. For more information on age requirements and costs, visit CityOfJacksonville.net.
