Brace yourselves, moms and dads. Of all the fantastic food festivals around the Natural State, we can't imagine one that your kids will love more than Mac 'N' Cheez Mania.

Held at War Memorial Stadium on April 11, the inaugural event will celebrate all things macaroni and cheese--all to benefit local organizations that serve children, hunger, health and education. The event is organized as a community service by Trinity United Methodist Church and will feature play space and family-friendly activities, music, and mac and cheese tasting, of course.

The cheesy bites will be prepared by professional chefs competing for prizes, as well as non-professional and family teams. Even kids can participate in the cook-off. In fact, youth teams of kids 18 and under can enter for free! (Note: Though youth teams may sign up for free, teams must be prepared to serve at least 200-300 bites of their mac and cheese recipe.)

The fun will begin at 11 a.m. on April 11. Admission is $10 for adults and kids 12 and under are free. For more information or to participate as a Mac ’N’ Cheez Mania cook-off chef, visit Facebook.com/Mac-N-CheezMania.
