The Mosaic Templars Cultural Center is already a fantastic destination for school field trips, free educational exhibits, and family-friendly events. And the downtown Little Rock museum just gave us another reason to love them: free storytimes!

Storytime! is a brand-new program for children ages 2-4 and will bring children's books to life with silly sing-alongs and dance. The storytimes will serve as a way for the history museum to share African American narratives with a younger audience. And the book lineup is superb, of course! Expect to see and hear "This Jazz Man," "Charlie Parker Played Be Bop," "Old Mikamba Had a Farm" and "Whose Toes are Those?"

Storytime! is free and open to the public. The first two storytimes will be held at 10 a.m. July 16 & 30. For more info, call (501) 683-3610 or visit MosaicTemplarsCulturalCenter.com.
