We can't blame you if you refuse to vacate the pool for the entire weekend. But there are a few events we think are worth hanging up the floatie and heading into the heat.

Air conditioning awaits at the Innovation Hub, where you'll also find cool, hands-on activities for the whole family. Or, beat the heat by planning your family fun after the sun goes down: Pinnacle Mountain hosts a Summer Star Party and the late-night Glo Run takes over Burns Park.

Here are our top 5 weekend events for family fun!
