We're less than a month away from Rollin' on the River, the annual 5K run and 2K walk to benefit Easter Seals Arkansas! On Aug. 22, children and adults from all over Arkansas will meet at the Clinton Presidential Center to celebrate and support the organization that provides exceptional services to children and adults with disabilities.

The morning will begin with a USATF Certified 5K Run at 7 a.m., followed by the 2K Family Fun Walk at 8:45 a.m. There will also be a kid's area that opens at 8 a.m., as well as food, games and awards! Team awards will be given at 9:30 a.m. to winners in categories like "Rookie of the Year," "Spirit and Spunk," "Top Family Team" and more.

If you've been meaning to sign up for the active, family-friendly event, now's the time. Teams are already raising money for the organization; last year, the race raised over $110,000 to support the programs and services of Easter Seals Arkansas.

To participate, you can start your own team or join an existing one. When you pre-register, it's just $25 to sign up, and children 12 and under are $10. Race day registration is $35, children 12 and under $12. Register by Aug. 3 to make sure you get a t-shirt!

Rollin' on the River will be held 7-10 a.m. Aug. 22 at Clinton Presidential Center. For more information and to register, visit EasterSealsAR.com.
