A certain fashionable feline will take the stage at the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre beginning this Friday, Sept. 18! Earlier this week, Little Rock Family got a sneak peek behind the scenes of "Puss in Boots" when the AACCT took over our Instagram account, sharing snapshots of the crew and cast as they put the finishing touches on the fairytale production.

In the story, the swashbuckling Puss the Cat raises his master, Claude, from a down-and-out miller’s son to the heights of happiness. Little ones will enjoy all the madcap fun as Puss brandishes, not his sword, but his superior feline intellect to conquer kings and ogres.

Bradley D. Anderson is the artistic director for the production which was adapted for the stage by Keith Smith. Costumes are designed by Erin Larkin and Nikki Webster, technical direction by Drew Posey, lighting design by Mike Stacks, setting and properties design by Miranda Young, choreographed by Erin Fowler and Sarah Gasser is the stage manager.

"Puss in Boots" will run at the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre Sept. 18-Oct. 4. Performance times are 7 p.m. Fri.; 2 p.m. Sat. & Sun. Ticket prices are $12.50; AAC members are $10.
