Downtown Little Rock Offers Free Trick-or-Treating at Annual Big Boo!seum Bash, Oct. 29
This Thursday, Oct. 29, downtown Little Rock will transform into the most adorable Halloween Town you've ever seen! Hordes of little boys and ghouls will be trick-or-treating at local museums and cultural centers during the 20th Annual Big!Booseum Bash.
Hosted by the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau and Greater Little Rock Museums and Cultural Attractions Consortium, the event encourages kiddos to dress in their cutest costumes for safe, free trick-or-treating, games and other fun from 6-8:30 p.m. Oct. 29.
Participating locations include:
- Arkansas Arts Center: Characters from the Children's Theatre will greet trick-or-treaters.
- Historic Arkansas Museum: Activities include the Twinkie Walk and Madame J, Fortuneteller Extraordinaire. Plus, Little Rock Family will be on site with a free photo booth and extra giveaways!
- Little Rock Visitor Center at Curran Hall
- MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History
- Mosaic Templars Cultural Center: MTCC's "Halloween Spooktacular" will feature a host of ghoulish games, thrilling door prizes, enchanted fortune telling, sweet treats and more! Plus, Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site will participate on-site.
- Museum of Discovery: Enjoy a "mad" scientist station, spooky museum collection pieces, a scary sensory station, trick-or-treating and tinkering with circuits.
- Old State House Museum: Arkansas State Capitol will participate on-site.
- Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center: Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum will participate on-site.
While you are out and about, don't forget to tag your Instagram and Facebook photos #LRBooseum! You'll be entered to win the social media contest prize. You can also pick up a game card (available at each location) and get your card stamped at each location you visit to be eligible for prize drawings. Stamped cards will include prize entry instructions. Prize entrants must be 18 years of age or younger. This year's drawings include an electronic tablet, $100 gift card and a basket of goodies.
