Free Admission Day and 11th Anniversary at Clinton Presidential Center: On Saturday, November 14, celebrate the Center's 11th Anniversary with a free admission day. Preview Event & Santa's Arrival at Bass Pro Shops: Watch the unveiling of Santa's Wonderland and the tree lighting. Playaway Gift Shop Open House at Arkansas Children's Hospital: Start your holiday shopping at this tax-free shopping event. Special guest, Mallory Hardin Brooks, will read to the children. Plus, families can enjoy Arkansas Festival Ballet performances, choir performances, exciting deals in the Playaway Gift Shop and a chance to meet the Holiday Card artists at a reception in the Train Room at 3 p.m. 1-4 p.m. Nov. 15. Museum School Sale at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds: Take a walk through the Arkansas Arts Center Museum School Sale where guests find original artwork, handcrafted items and one-of-a-kind holiday gifts. Race the Base Trail Run & Kingfisher Kids Run at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: Race the Base is a 4-mile Trail Run with a mixture of paved trail, gravel road and technical single track. This race is for experienced trail runners. Kids 12 and under run the .5 mile paved course immediately following the 4-mile base run (approximately 10:30 a.m.). Families are welcome to run with smaller children if needed. All kids will receive a finisher's medal and the first 50 kids to register receive a custom Kingfisher Kids Medal at the finish. 8:30-11 a.m. Nov. 14. Price: $30 for base run; kids run is $5.
