Happy Valentine's Day! This weekend is all about sharing time with your loved ones, whether you're planning a child-free date night, a full family activity or both! There's plenty to love about the events for families, including the Disney Live performance at Verizon Arena, a symphony show that's all about Broadway, and lots of family-friendly Valentine-themed events. 

It's also the final weekend to see The Rep's "Peter & the Starcatcher" and the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre's "The 13 Clocks." And don't forget about the many wonderful ways to celebrate Black History Month, too!

Disney Live! Mickey and Minnie’s Doorway to Magic at Verizon Arena: Join Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and the comical duo of Donald and Goofy as 25 of your favorite characters surprise and captivate at every turn of the knob! See the Fairy Godmother transform Cinderella’s rags into a beautiful ball gown in a split second; the Toy Story gang defy the dimensions of Andy’s toy box with the help of the green army men; and the spectacular stage debut of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider as they rise into the sky amidst the floating lanterns. With special appearances by Snow White, Tinker Bell and Aladdin’s Genie, you never know what to expect or who might join in the fun. ASO Pops Live! Broadway Rocks! at Pulaski Academy’s Connor Performing Arts Center: This high energy show brings together exciting vocalists from the Broadway stage performing selections from rock and contemporary Broadway hits, including "Wicked," "The Lion King," "Mamma Mia," "Rent," "The Wiz" and "Phantom of the Opera." 7:30 p.m. Feb. 13 & 3 p.m. Feb. 14. $19-$58. Super Sunday Free Family Funday at Arkansas Arts Center: Take part in this free art-making experience for the whole family! Participants will create a relief sculpture in the style of Louise Nevelson, who is known for her large-scale monochromatic sculptures. Her pieces are often constructed out of wooden pieces and emphasize non-figural imagery. While you’re there, don’t miss the last performance of “The 13 Clocks” performed at the Children’s Theatre downstairs. Sweetheart Hayride and Campfire at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: Take a ride through one of the most elusive areas of the park during this fun hayride guided by park interpreters. Unique views of Pinnacle Mountain will be featured along the way, as well as programming on winter wildlife. S’mores and hot chocolate will await you at the end of the route.
