Guess who's hopping down the bunny trail and onto the stage? Peter Rabbit! For its final show of the 2015-2016 season, the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre will present "The Adventures of Peter Rabbit" April 22-May 8.

The springtime show for all ages adapts Beatrix Potter's beloved stories for the stage. The production is based on one of Potter's first published works and follows four little rabbits: Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail and Peter Rabbit. The excited young bunnies are ready to go out into the world, but Mother Rabbit gives them a word of warning—"Don't go into Mr. McGregor's garden."

Of course, readers of famed story know what that means! The curious Peter Rabbit can't help but find a way into the forbidden garden and feast on all of the delicious veggies...until he meets Mr. McGregor and his cat!

The Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre will present "The Adventures of Peter Rabbit" April 22-May 8. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Fri., 2 p.m. Sat. & Sun. Tickets are $12.50, Arts Center members $10.

The "Pay What You Can" preview performance will be at 7 p.m. April 21. "Pay What You Can" tickets must be purchased in person at the Arkansas Arts Center from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Stephens Inc. Visitors Center, or from 6-6:45 p.m. at the Children's Theatre Box Office, Lower Lobby Level.
