One of our favorite summer traditions is to pack a picnic and watch a free outdoor flick, courtesy of Movies in the Park in downtown Little Rock! The 2016 Movies in the Park schedule is packed with classics, blockbusters and family favorites, including "Guardians of the Galaxy," "Monsters University," "Lego Movie," "Dirty Dancing" and more!

The free films are screened outdoors at the First Security Amphitheatre in Little Rock's River Market every Wednesday from June 8-July 27.

Audiences can bring picnics (no glass containers) and settle onto the grassy field or snag seats in the amphitheater. Concessions will be available for purchase, including soft drinks, candy and popcorn, hot dogs, ice cream and more. Pets are welcome, too!

The park opens an hour before film showings and films begin at sundown. Here's the full Movies in the Park schedule for 2016:
