Flying enthusiasts will soar as they watch this weekend's airshow at the North Little Rock Municipal Airport. And, Mount Magazine will lead workshops and events to teach families about butterflies and other pollinators that call the mountain home. 27th Anniversary Celebration at Plantation Agriculture Museum State Park: Families are invited to celebrate with free Dutch-oven desserts and homemade ice cream. The museum first opened its doors in June 1989 after the final 3-year restoration period. Wings Over the Rock Airshow and Car Show at the North Little Rock Municipal Airport: Kids who love airplanes will be dazzled by formation flying and wild aerobatics at this airshow. Mount Magazine Butterfly Festival XX: This annual event teaches families to understand and appreciate butterflies and other pollinators, such as bees. Family Summer Camp at Bass Pro Shops: Summer workshops kick off this Saturday to teach kids and families about outdoor pursuits, including fishing, water safety, camping, hiking, hunting, outdoor gardening, archery and more. Kids can take aim in a shooting arcade and a BB shooting range, handle a rod and reel in the casting area, and make a flower pot craft. Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre in Central Arkansas: This annual summer series presents Shakespeare and Broadway productions across the state.
