What can you expect from an event dubbed "Xtreme"? It's an amped up version of a traditional circus with some unique feats that Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey call never before seen. The nearly 100-year-old circus promises a dash of mirth as well. The show hits North Little Rock Sept. 2-4.

Performers in the new show "Circus Xtreme," presented by Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey, pose for a photo.

The lineup for the show features: high-wire wizards, powerful strongmen, BMX trick riders, trampoline daredevils, contortionists, a high-flying human cannonball, a bungee aerial skydiving display and an international assembly of more than 300 cast and crew. Of course, what's a circus without exotic animals? Bengal tigers and two-humped camels are ridden by "brave Mongolian" women. "Circus Xtreme" is a two and a half hour show.

Included with a regular ticket purchase, an all access pre-show is available an hour before the show. Families can meet the international cast of performers and get up close to the menagerie of animals. A VIP behind the scenes of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey is available through ringlingbros.expapp.com.

Tickets are on sale and can be purchased by calling (800) 745-3000, online at ticketmaster.com or at the Verizon Arena box office.
