Hey, parents, how about an event where your kids can make a mess and you can watch it all happen without batting an eye?

The Museum of Discovery is inviting kids to make a big mess in the name of science for Messtival on Saturday, Aug. 20. The day includes exploding paints, other safe explosions, foams, slime, bubbles and much more. The best part of the whole day is that parents and kids don't have to clean anything up!

Messtival is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and included in regular admission. Visitors should take care when they choose their outfits and wear clothes that can get dirty. Admission to the museum is $10, $8 for children ages 1 -12, free for children under 1 and members.

For more information, call (501) 396-7050 or visit MuseumOfDiscovery.org.

The museum is open Tues.–Sat., 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; Sun., 1-5 p.m.; Closed Monday (open Mondays in the summer and on major holidays).
