These aren't your ordinary barnyard horses — the Budweiser Clydesdales are in town and you have all week to go visit them!

That's right, you can take the whole family to see these majestic animals up close and personal. 

The world-famous, eight-horse Budweiser Clydesdale hitch are in Little Rock for a series of special events Tuesday, Sept. 20-Sunday, Sept. 25. The gentle giants tour around the country for stops like these in different cities. They aren't the exact horses you've probably seen in the TV commercials, but they look just like them.

Here's where you can find them all week long:

Tuesday, Sept. 20-Friday, Sept. 23 and Sunday, Sept. 25

The Public is Invited to Come See the Clydesdales in their Stables

10 a.m.-3 p.m. - Little Rock River Market District at the Vogel/Schwartz Sculpture Garden on the River Trail. 

Friday, Sept. 23

Clydesdales on Parade

5:30-7:30 p.m. - Little Rock River Market District. The Clydesdales will depart their stables near the Vogel/Schwartz Sculpture Garden, parading down President Clinton Avenue, to the Clinton Library. The hitch will travel back to the River Market Pavilions via the same route. 

Block Party

7:30-10 p.m. - Little Rock River Market District.

Saturday, Sept. 24

Clydesdales Featured at Little Rock’s Main Street Food Truck Festival

1-3 p.m. - Main Street and 4th Street in downtown Little Rock; the Clydesdales will appear at the festival. 

Sunday, Sept. 25

Take a Picture with a Clydesdale

1-3 p.m. - Little Rock River Market District at the Vogel/Schwartz Sculpture Garden on the River Trail. 

To qualify for a hitch, a Clydesdale must be a gelding at least four years of age, stand 72 inches at the shoulder when fully mature, weigh between 1,800 and 2,300 pounds, have a bay coat, a blaze of white on the face, four white legs, and a black mane and tail.
