Magic Screams at Magic Springs Water & Theme Park: Magic Springs puts on "Magic Screams," a ghoulish Halloween event with something for the entire family. The park is complete with five haunted houses, a kid's zone for the younger kids, several contests and  movie screenings for all to enjoy! Boo at the Zoo: Arkansas's largest Halloween festival is back and filled will with lots of howl-oween fun! Boo At The Zoo is appropriate for families with children of all ages, and features a safe environment for trick-or-treating along with other spooktacular amenities and attractions. Don your costumes and stroll through the colorful lights and Halloween-themed decorations. Trick-or-treaters enjoy nightly dance contests, costume contests, free carousel rides, glitter tattoos, live music, a dance party and more! $10; all inclusive arm bands are $20. Tiny Hands Monster Bash at Next Level Events: A fundraiser for Family Home and UAMS Neonatal Unit, Tiny Hands Monster Bash includes a silent auction, heavy hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine. Chills & Thrills at Mount St. Mary Academy: Mark your calendars for a spook-tacular day of Halloween fun that benefits co-curricular programs for all Mount St. Mary Academy students. The event includes a 5K Monster Dash and family fun featuring a rock climbing wall,mechanical bull, haunted house, boo-tique shopping and frightening fare from around the world. An adults-only Twilight Bash takes place that night, this new event on the Mount St. Mary campus is open to the community and guaranteed to be a scream! Free, $25 for 5K, $40 for Twilight Bash. Halloween Costume Contest and Trick-or-Treating at Outlets at Little Rock: Games, prizes and giveaways are all part of Outlets of Little Rock's Halloween celebrations. A costume contest Saturday names two winners in each of the following categories: scary, cute and original. The contest is for children 2-12 years old. Nightmare on Scott Street at the Villa Marre: The first annual Nightmare on Scott Street Halloween Bash benefits the local nonprofit, Hope Rises. Scary Face Pancakes at IHOP: Scary Face Pancakes come with a world-famous Buttermilk Pancake topped with whipped cream, a strawberry nose and served with a side of OREO cookies and candy corn so your kids can let their silliness shine through with their monster creations. Halloween Fun at Petit Jean State Park: Celebrate the “spooky season” on Petit Jean Mountain! Family friendly nature activities, games, snacks, and costume contest. Halloween Carnival at Sherwood Forest: For parents fretting about finding a safe place to take their ghouls and boos trick-or-treating this Halloween, the City of Sherwood's Parks & Recreation Department has a fun solution. The festivities are open to the public and feature carnival booths with games, candy and prizes and a costume contest for children up to age 12. Several area businesses and organizations are volunteering for this community event to provide a safe place for trick-or-treaters.
