Mark your calendars for the second annual Walk for CommUNITY, sponsored by Just Communities of Arkansas. The event will take place on Sunday, Nov. 6 from 3-5 p.m. at the Little Rock River Market Pavilions. 

More than 1,000 people attended last year’s walk, raising over $54,000 to help create communities where every person is valued, every voice is heard and everyone has a fair chance to succeed. 

The event will feature music, dance, food from Katmandu Momo and The Southern Gourmasian food trucks, and a one-mile walk. There will also be face painting, bubbles, sidewalk chalk and games for kids. Wheelchairs, strollers and pets on leashes are welcome. 

Registration will be available online or in-person on the day of the event. Tickets for individual adults are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event. Tickets are $10 for students and $50 for families of up to five. You can register online here.
