Jingle Bell Run at Clinton Presidential Library Park: Be part of the largest holiday-themed 5K race series anywhere — and join the movement to conquer arthritis! The Arthritis Foundation's Jingle Bell Run is a fun way to get out and get moving with options like a macot run for kids and memorial one-mile walk for a more relaxing morning. $10-$30 depending on age and run/walk choice. Little Rock Family Day at The Rep: Join Little Rock Family for pre-show family fun! From a special holiday craft to free candy canes, Family Day is an outing the whole crew will enjoy. Lighting of the CapitolThe spectacular lighting of the Capitol will take place at dark or approximately 6 p.m. on Dec. 3. The firework display has been canceled. Grand High Tea and Tour at the Empress of Little Rock: Experience the magic of an 1880s Christmas which will enchant and bring in the holidays with memories of long ago. North Little Rock Sertoma Club Christmas Parade: The annual parade, themed "Joy to the World," begins at Pershing Boulevard and Main Street, heads south into the Argenta Arts & Entertainment District and concludes in front of the City Services Building (120 Main St.). Friday-Sunday

"It's A Wonderful Life" at the Pocket Theatre: Based on the classic film, Stephan Fryar directs this heartwarming holiday story that is fun for the whole family! Holidays in the Wild at the Little Rock ZooHolidays in the Wild features an enchanted train ride to the South Pole, pictures with Santa, crafts for kids, live music, food trucks and light displays! This year, Holidays in the Wild will feature Lightasmic's colorful, interactive light show on the Civitan Amphitheater stage.
