If you're planning on going to see "Cinderella" at the Robinson Performance Hall in January, there's an opportunity for you to give back in a big, fun way.

At each performance of the Broadway musical, from Jan. 13-15, 2017, Cinderella's Closet will be collecting donations of old or used prom dresses.

Cinderella's Closet is based out of Philander Smith College and run by Nyashe Clark. The organization collects donated prom dresses and then gives underprivileged and financially needy students a chance to come "shop" for a free dress for their proms.

Celebrity Attractions, the entertainment agency that presents the Broadway Series at the Robinson, will be in charge of the dress collection during each show. Attendees can also donate jewelry and accesories.
