Community Connections recently announced its spring extracurricular programs for children with special needs and their families. This year, it will provide acting, art, golf, martial arts, music, soccer, tennis and educational programs free of charge in Conway, Little Rock and Russellville. For the first time, it will also partner with Special Olympics to offer a young athletes program of floorball and cycling in Conway.

On Feb. 26, Community Connections will conduct a Sibshop/Respite Care event at Pediatrics Plus in Little Rock to give parents a break and provide support to siblings of children with special needs. It will also host a monthly young adults social group with recreational outings.

Families may register or view the full schedule of programs online. Community volunteers will serve as buddies for the children in both the sports and arts programs.
