Personal growth sometimes takes a backseat when growing kids are involved. But these free continuing education classes are a great way to give yourself some quality self-care. Through Universal Class, the Central Arkansas Library System is offering free continuing education courses to all library cardholders.

Courses are in 28 areas of study including business, finance, math and special education. Beyond personal growth, courses could even be used to help understand kids' homework or to help them study for tests; test preparation is even an available area of study. More than 45 courses focus on parenting and family.

Continuing Education Units and a certificate are awarded at the end of each course, as long as the student maintains a 70 percent or higher average.

To sign up, just follow this link and enter your library card number. Then create an account with Universal Class and start signing up for courses.
