It feels like spring already, although it's still a month away. The Statehouse Convention Center overflows with flowers and garden-related products Feb. 24-26 at the Arkansas Flower and Garden Show.

Seminars and competitions are part of the festivities and attendees can purchase plants, pots, outdoor furniture, garden art, tools and more. Food trucks provide concessions and snacks throughout the event.

There are also activities for the kids. A printable scavenger hunt is available on the website and the Arkansas 4-H has hands-on activities planned. On Sunday there are special workshops for families and kids accompanied by an adult can participate in fun and educational gardening activities. Children 12 years old and under get in free.

Tickets are $10 for a single day and $15 for a three-day pass. They may be purchased online. The show's hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Feb. 24, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Feb. 25 and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Feb. 26. For more information, call (501) 605-0644 or visit the show's website.
