The promise of Tommy Terrific on the last day of camp could get kids interested in history this spring break. The Mosaic Templars Cultural Center holds a spring break mini-camp from 10 a.m. to noon March 21-24.

Two hour sessions allow kids to stay engaged during the visit. The schedule starts out with Major to Minor on March 21. The hands-on program focuses on two of Arkansas’ most famous musicians: William Grant Still and Scott Joplin.

On the second day, March 22, "What's the Buzz?" is a program that teaches about the scientific contributions of entomologist, Dr. E. J. Harris. On Thursday March 23, Speaking Up, Speaking Out is program in which students design and create their own wearable buttons. Finally on March 24, Tommy Terrific performs his Tuskegee Airman wacky magic show.

Registration is limited. For more information or to register, call (501) 683-3592 or email the center.
