Library Hosts Food Trucks for Parking Lot Party
This is one time the librarians won't be asking you to be quiet at the library — there's even going to be a band at CALS' parking lot party on Thursday!
The Central Arkansas Library Sytem is hosting a parking lot party on April 6 — complete with food trucks, a band and a flag line. The event is at the Main Library in downtown Little Rock and is part of CALS' efforts to fundraise through ArkansasGives, a statewide project that helps nonprofits raise money.
Roxie's Hot Dogs and Bryant's BBQ & Catering will be the food truck options while the Little Rock Central High School band performs. The event is free but attendees are encouraged to make a donation online at ArkansasGives.org.
The party goes from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Beforehand, families can stop by a regularly scheduled baby and toddler storytime at 10:30 a.m. in the youth services section of the library.
