The Argenta Arts District is an up-and-coming commercial and residential neighborhood in North Little Rock, offering visitors three breweries, a popular coffee shop and easy access to the Arkansas River Trail.

Is the summer heat stopping you from spending the day downtown? Now you can jump on an air conditioned trolley for free!

Although the trolley rides only usually cost $1, that can add up when an entire family climbs on board for rides to and from a destination.

So, in June, July and August, Rock Region Metro is making all trolley rides completely free! The trolley ridership has declined in recent months, so the hope is that these rides will encourage people to jump on board more often.

The trolleys run on a 3.4 mile route in downtown Little Rock and North Little Rock. The ridership guidelines do say, however, that riders must ride "with a purpose." That means no aimless circles around the city for hours.

A route map and schedule for the trolleys is available here.

Not sure where you should go on the trolley? There's a list of attractions accesbile by trolley available here. Family-friendly options include the Museum of Discovery, Heifer International, the Clinton Presidential Center, Dickey Stephens Park and more!
