The University of Central Arkansas’s Reynolds Performance Hall will feature a record 23 events for the 2017-18 season, including a Main Stage Education series just for students!

The Main Stage Education series debuted in 2015-2016 and the shows are for school groups with select public performances.

Shows include:

  • "How I Became a Pirate," Oct. 11, 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
  • "Mooseltoe," Dec. 8, 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
  • Freedom Riders, Jan. 23, 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
  • "Pinkalicious," Feb. 11, 3 p.m. (public performance), and Feb. 12, 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
  • "Cirque Zuma Zuma," Feb. 21, 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
  • "Charlotte’s Web," April 6, 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 6 p.m. (public peformance)

  • "A Christmas Carol," Dec. 19, 7:30 p.m. (public performance)

"The Main Stage Education Series continued to grow in its second season with almost 9,000 students, teachers and parents served," said Amanda Horton, director of Reynolds. "We had school groups attend from across Arkansas, including Mountain View, Little Rock, Searcy, Cabot and Conway."

There are also Broadway, Pop and Night-Out series throughout the season. 

The family-friendly highlights include:

  • "The Wizard of Oz," Nov. 12, 3 p.m.
  • Jack Hanna Into the Wild Live!, Oct. 27, 7:30 p.m.
  • "A Charlie Brown Christmas," Nov. 16, 7:30 p.m.
  • "Cinderella," April 18, 7:30 p.m.
  • Pixar in Concert featuring the Conway Symphony Orchestra, Feb. 3, 7:30 p.m.
