Tesla Fest at Mid-America Science Museum: Mid-America Science Museum celebrates Tesla Fest on the 160th birthday of inventor Nikola Tesla. Super Summer Saturdays at the Clinton Presidential Center: This weekly summer special gets all ages involved with free educational activities, and this time they coincide with the center’s temporary exhibit, Xtreme BUGS. 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Representatives from the Little Rock Zoo will be onsite to show Madagascar hissing cockroaches, stick bugs and tarantulas from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Activities are free; regular admission to tour the permanent and temporary exhibits still applies. Sunset Canoe Float at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: The view doesn’t get much better than this. Watch the world transform at twilight on this park interpreter-led float on the Big Maumelle River.
