Summer Reading Club is coming to a close, which means it's time to celebrate!

The Central Arkansas Library System and the Arkansas 529 Investing plan will host an End of Summer Reading Club Bash on Saturday, July 29 at 10 a.m. at the Hillary Rodham Clinton Children's Library & Learning Center.

The free event will feature live music, princesses from Fancyful Fairytale Parties, petting zoo from Heifer International, an Iron Man super hero, food trucks and more!

The celebration is sponsored by the Arkansas 529 College Investing Plan. Throughout the summer, participants could join The Read to Succeed Library Scavenger Hunt challenge. Participants were challenged to read books on financial literacy throughout the summer for a chance to win one of four $529 scholarships. The winners will be announced at the bash.

This year's Summer Reading Club theme was "Build a Better World." Program topics include volunteerism, conservation, ecology, construction, and engineering.
