Story Time With The Little Mermaid: Head to Whole Foods for Kids Club in Little Rock and have a meet and greet and storytime with your favorite mermaid princess. Bright Night at Big Rock Mini Golf and Fun Park: For only $30, choose four activites at Big Rock Fun Park and enjoy a Chick-Fil-A dinner. This brand new event benefits Methodist Family Health and participants can choose from go-karts, laser tag, mini golf and more plus everyone receives glow-in-the-dark accesories to add to the fun. Head of the Class Bash at the Clinton Presidential Center: The Clinton Presidential Center will celebrate back-to-school with the annual “Head of the Clash Bash,” a free family festival. More than 3,000 backpacks filled with school supplies will be distributed to students on a first come, first served basis. Families can also enjoy fun, educational activities. Ha-Pie Birthday at Honey Pies: Sprinkles all around! Honey Pies is celebrating its first anniversary and doing it in delicious style. Pop in for confetti mini pies, crust cookies and more. Store hours are 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. For more info, click here.

Super Family Fun Night at Central Baptist Church of North Little Rock: Celebrate heading back to school at this event for the whole family. There will be free hot dogs, chips, drinks, snow cones, inflatables, games and more! Event goes from 6-8 p.m. Click here for details. FREE!

Friday-Sunday

Arkansas Travelers vs. Tulsa Drillers at Dickey-Stephens Park: On Friday, the Travs play at 7:10 p.m. and the game is followed by a spectacular fireworks display. On Saturday, the first pitch is at 6:10 p.m. and the first 1,000 fans receive a free mini bat. And on Sunday, the game starts at 6:10 p.m. and the whole family (two adults and up to four kids) can get in for $10 if you bring your church bulletin from that morning. "The Wizard of Oz" at Murry's Dinner Playhouse: Follow the yellow brick road straight to Murry's Dinner Playhouse for a family night at the theater as "The Wizard of Oz" hits the stage. Friday and Saturday dinner is from 6-7:20 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, there is a matinee with lunch from 11 a.m.-12:40 p.m. and the show at 12:45 p.m. as well as an evening performance with dinner from 5:30-6:40 p.m. and the show at 6:45 p.m. Tickets range from $15-$37. For more details on the show and to view a seating chart, visit the Murry's Dinner Playhouse website.
