From Harry Potter showings and crafts to a game of bingo just for teens, the Central Arkansas Library System has a fun-filled lineup of activities for the whole family during Banned Books Week. 

All of the events during the weeklong freedom to read celebration are free and open to the public. Events go from Sept. 24-30. Here are some of the family-friendly highlights:

Azkabanned Bash on Sept. 23 at 10 a.m.
Hillary Rodham Clinton Children’s Library & Learning Center, 4800 W. 10 St., Little Rock
View "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" (PG) and enjoy special Harry Potter crafts and snacks.

"Alice in Wonderland" (G) Screening on Sept. 25 at 6 p.m.
McMath Library, 2100 John Barrow Road, Little Rock

Banned Books Week Trivia (Ages 12-19) on Sept. 26 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Dee Brown Library, 6325 Baseline Drive, Little Rock
Test your knowledge about censorship and frequently challenged books.

Crafty Harry Potter (Ages 12-19) on Sept. 27 at 5:30 p.m.
Terry Library, 2015 Napa Valley Drive, Little Rock
Make a wand, a Marauders' Map and an origami Sorting Hat to celebrate Banned Books Week.

"James and the Giant Peach" (PG) Screening on Sept. 28 at 3:30 p.m.
