Opening Night of "Giggle, Giggle, Quack" at the Arkansas Arts Center: The Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre is back for its 2017-18 season! In "Giggle, Giggle, Quack" Farmer Brown is off on a much-needed vacation, leaving his brother Bob in charge with one crucial word of advice: “Keep an eye on Duck. Faulkner County Fair at Conway Expo Center and Fairgrounds: This year's fair is themed "Heroes and Fairy Tales." Enjoy a midway, home economic booths, commercial exhibits, live entertainment, and livestock exhibits filled with sheep, cattle, hogs, rabbits and more. 76th Lonoke County Fair & Livestock Show at Lonoke County Fairgrounds: Enjoy a carnival, pet show, talent show, and parade! Visitors can also explore exhibits such as livestock, horticulture, arts and crafts and more. Special events include the Red Neck Games, lawn mower races, rodeo and more. Superhero Dash-N-Bash at Murray Park: This fourth annual event takes place at Murray Park in Little Rock. Attendees will get to enjoy food, music, bounce houses, games, activities, head shaving and much more! All proceeds go to support the families of children who are being treated in the Hematology and Oncology Department at Arkansas Children's Hospital. Azkabanned Bash at Hillary Clinton Children's LibraryAs part of CALS Banned Books Week celebrations, view "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" (PG) and enjoy special Harry Potter crafts and snacks. Acansa Family Art Day at Hillary Clinton Children's Library: Enjoy a day of art, music, and fun for the whole family. Children will enjoy a fun musical performance by the acclaimed trio Nine Horses, an appearance by the Arkansas Art Mobile, and snacks and drinks provided by Acansa. Additionally, Pulaski County Community Services will present "Chalk4Peace," a sidewalk chalk drawing contest that is part of their Peace Week activities. 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Hillary Clinton Children’s Library. FREE!

Intro to Yoga for Children at Arkansas Yoga Collective: Kids practicing yoga has been show to increase their ability to concentrate, encourage body awareness, help to develop and improve coordination skills and more. Join Rachel Newell for an Introduction into Yoga for Kids Pop-Up Class. It will be a fun-filled hour long class, tailored around helping the children understand the foundations of yoga. Recommended for ages 6 and up. Kids are $10, parents are welcome to join in for free.
