From a tasty fall festival to a holiday parade, central Arkansas is celebrating fall and already looking towards the upcoming holidays. Make the most of this crisp November weekend with fun at the children's theatre, a fall foliage cruise, a kids cooking class and more!

Family Ultimate Safety Event at Jacksonville Community Center: Unintentional injuries are the leading cause of death for children in Arkansas, and this event will help you learn how to prevent those with interactive exhibits and resources. There will be information about car seat safety, poison control, safe sleep, emergency preparedness, fire safety and more. Guests can win door prizes and visit vendors for other giveaways. Campin' Out at the River Market Pavilions: Pass the s'mores. Families can enjoy a cozy and casual evening with food, drinks, live music, a silent auction and a campfire complete with s'mores, of course. All proceeds will go to the Joseph Pfeifer Kiwanis Camp and its work helping children in central Arkansas. Tickets are $35 per person and the fun goes from 6-9 p.m. For more info, click here.

"Goosebumps the Musical: Phantom of the Auditorium": Relax and enjoy a classic Halloween production at the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre. Adapted from R. L. Stine’s "Phantom of the Auditorium," this weird and wacky musical is sure to bring a tickle and a chill. Follow Zeke and Brooke and all the other young thespians of Woods Mill Middle School as they put on a musical. Bernice Garden Market: At the Bernice Garden Market, artists, craftspeople, jewelers, vintage vendors, and more will be selling their collectibles & handicrafts to the public. This event was originally scheduled for Oct. 7 and was rescheduled to Nov. 4 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Visit the website for more details. FREE!

St. James UMC Shopping Spree and Bazaar: This event will feature local and out-of-state vendors as well as nonprofit organizations selling hand crafted items, home decor, seasonal items, beauty products, jewelry and much more. Puppy Up Canine Cancer Walk: The seventh annual walk and silent auction for promoting canine cancer awareness, fellowship, and fundraising for comparative oncology studies. All proceeds go to the Puppy Up Foundation, a 501c3 organization that provides grants to organizations that conduct canine cancer studies. Registration is $20 in advance or $25 in person. Chili Fights in the Heights: Welcome cool fall weather with this cozy and tasty event. Chili Fights in the Heights is a neighborhood festival with two purposes: to have fun and to raise money for the Arkansas Foodbank. For just $5, attendees get to taste tons of delicious chili and vote on their favorite. Participants cook from 1-4 p.m., chili goes to the judges at 4 p.m. and winners are announced at 6:30 p.m. Look for more details at chilifights.com.

Kids Cook! at the Innovation Hub: Do your kids like to help out in the kitchen while you prepare food? Kids Cook! is a kid-friendly cooking class is designed to teach children how to safely and properly navigate kitchen equipment. And, it gives kids the skills to make simple, nutritious snacks and dishes they can prepare at home. Registration is $40 per child and the class, which goes from 2-4 p.m., is open for ages 9-12. Landlubbers Boat Float on Main: This holiday-themed boat parade along 3rd and Main Streets will include a flotilla of boats pulled through downtown Little Rock. The parade will start at 6 p.m. from the Clinton Presidential Center traveling west on 3rd Street, turn south onto Main Street and end at 6th Street. A “Yacht Rock Block Party” will begin once the parade has ended.  The block party will be held in the 500 block of Main Street, where attendees can grab a hot cup of cocoa from Loblolly Creamery and a picture with Santa. Fall Foliage Cruises at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: Experience the beauty of the changing leaves along the shores of nearby Lake Maumelle. Join a park interpreter for a guided tour of these amazing colors. Don’t forget your camera! Meet at the Jolly Rogers Marina.
