Salvation Army Angel Tree Kick-Off at McCain Mall: The Salvation Army Angel Tree kick-off event takes place on the upper level of McCain Mall next to JC Penney and will feature a reading of "The Polar Express" by Officer Tommy Norman, a musical performance from Sherwood Elementary students with songs from "The Polar Express," a performance by the UALR Trojans dance team and more. Arkansas Arts Center Museum School Sale at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds: All year long, students of all ages attend classes at the AAC’s Museum School to learn many a new artistic skill. This sale is the perfect chance to get your Christmas shopping in or fill your own walls with the work of these talented young artists. The sale takes place in the Hall of Industry. Music & Fun With the Kinders at CALS Main Library: It’s time for a concert! Enjoy free live music at the Main Library in downtown Little Rock — bring the whole family and rock along with the Kinders in concert. The show will take place in the youth services department. Alton Brown Live: "Eat Your Science" at the Robinson Center: Alton Brown has made a career of melding science and food to provide entertainment and now he's bringing "Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science" to the Robinson Center. The show brings "all-new everything including songs, new comedy, new puppets and bigger and better potentially dangerous food demonstrations" to the stage, according to Brown. Tickets are $39-$70 and available here. The science fun starts at 7 p.m.

Sunday

Brunch at The Castle on Stagecoach: Tucked away in west Little Rock, the Castle on Stagecoach offers a brunch experience that will leave you wishing you could go back every Sunday. The all-you-can-eat (and drink) meal features a bountiful buffet and dessert table fit for a king and queen. Park next door and a horse and carriage will pick you up and take you down a path to the castle, which was built in the early 1930s and sits on 100 acres. Brunch is $65 per person and kids under 12 eat free! 3rd Annual Paint With Santa Event at The Painted Pig: Kids can fill out their Christmas list while they wait to see Santa, paint an ornament and enjoy Christmas snacks and goodies. Each guest will get his or her own photo with the big man in red. Then, each child will get his or her hand printed on a plate along with Santa's. Santa will also sing Christmas carols and read a story. Tickets start at $49 with upgrades available. "Eat Your Science"-Inspired Brunch at At the Corner: Oh, yes. If there's anything better than an eye-popping science show, it's an eye-popping science brunch to go with it. What should you expect from the downtown diner's dishes? According to the owners, you'll find "explosive edibles, interactive elements, deconstructed dishes, smoke, foam," and more. Free Admission at the Clinton Center: The Clinton Center celebrates 13 years since its grand opening with two free-admisison days.
