"Mother Goose Christmas" at the Arkansas Arts Center: Get in the holiday spirit with this show at the Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theatre. Grandpa Andy makes it his Christmas Eve mission to school Memory in the ways of Mother Goose. With the aid of a certain magic music box, the Bella Piper, Grandpa Andy and Memory set off on an adventure in Mother Goose’s Realm of Romp and Rhyme. "Home for the Holidays" with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra at the Robinson Center: Put on a holiday sweater, grab a candy cane, and head to the Robinson Center for this holiday musical extravaganza! Kids ages 1 to 100 will love this musical celebration of the most wonderful time of the year. Who knows? The big man in red might make an appearance! "A Christmas Carol" at Argenta Community Theater: There's nothing like a holiday classic to get you in the Christmas spirit. Come watch Scrooge sort it all out in this original adaptation by Judy Goss, beginning at 8 p.m. on Dec. 15 & 16 and 2 p.m. on Dec. 17.  Tickets are $30. For more info, click here.

Chinese Lantern Festival at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds: Stop by this festival for a different kind of holiday lights — see more than 30 larger-than-life lantern displays featuring more than 1,000 LED light components. In addition to the light displays, the festival will feature stage performances by Chinese acrobats and Chinese folk art demonstrations. There will also be various children's activities and food and drinks available. Stop in from 5:30-10 p.m. nightly. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children ages 5-17 and free for children under. Holidays in the Wild at the Little Rock Zoo: Attendees can choose the 8 a.m. breakfast or 1 p.m. lunch. Both meals will feature a buffet, Santa hearing the wish lists of the children who visit with him, photo opportunities, craft time, visits from animal ambassadors and enrichment time when Santa will deliver presents to zoo animals. For adults, tickets are $12.95 for members and $22.95 for non-members. Holiday Fun at the Clinton Center: The Clinton Center hosts holiday activities for the family, including fun art projects, special holiday entertainment, tasty treats and free photos with Santa. Caroling in the Forest at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: If Christmas music is playing on repeat everywhere you go, this is the perfect event. Meet at the Kingfisher Trailhead at 7 p.m. to stroll into the forest and sing your favorite Christmas carols along a paved trail. Bring a flashlight. Dinosaur Time Trek - Dragon Edition at the Statehouse Convention Center: Calling all budding paleontologists! Take a pre-historic step back in time for a roaring, stomping, roam-through experience like no other. Jump into the world of dinosaurs with hands-on exhibits for kids of all ages.
