Storytime With the Ice Princess at Whole Foods Market: Enjoy an interactive storytelling of the Ice Princess's story from 10-10:30 a.m., then stick around to get a picture taken with her afterwards. Home School Friday at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: Join a park interpreter for a home school class geared toward children 3rd grade and higher from 1-2:30 p.m. Call the park for more details on this week's topic. Build a Song at Hillary Rodham Clinton Children' Library: Visit the Sound Lab and learn how to build a song from scratch! Using live recording and digital music making techniques, go through different parts of a song and try to come up with one on your own. Wiggle Worms Science at the Museum of Discovery: Wiggle Worms introduces children 6 and younger to science in a fun, hands-on and interactive environment! The theme this week is "sound science." Eagle Lake Cruises on Lake Maumelle: Join park interpreters for a cruise on Lake Maumelle to seek wintering bald eagles. Guests often see several eagles and migratory waterfowl. Dress in layers for extreme cold and windy lake weather. Advance registration and payment required: $15 for adults and $8 for children ages 6-12. Cruises take place at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. and meet at the Jolly Rogers Marina. Visit the website for details.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" at CALS Main Library: Watch this classic "Star Wars" movie with the whole family for free at the library! And while you're there, you can even check out some of the other "Star Wars" movies to watch at home. The show starts at 2 p.m. and more info is available here. FREE!

Chinese Lantern Festival at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds: Stop by this festival for a different kind of holiday lights — see more than 30 larger-than-life lantern displays featuring more than 1,000 LED light components. In addition to the light displays, the festival will feature stage performances by Chinese acrobats and Chinese folk art demonstrations. There will also be various children's activities and food and drinks available. Stop in from 5:30-10 p.m. nightly. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children ages 5-17 and free for children under.
