Mission Statement

The mission of LRCA is to serve families, churches and the community by providing a preK-12th grade education, characterized by excellence in the pursuit of truth from a Christ-centered worldview.

Learning Environment & Curriculum 

Christ-centered environment with focus on preparation for higher education. The curriculum is designed to promote a lifetime love of learning.

Teaching Methods

Technology and the Harkness teaching method enhance traditional classroom methods. This integration helps students develop a collaborative approach to problem solving and learning.

Technology

Every 7-12th grade student receives a Chromebook as part of their learning curriculum. LRCA has strategically chosen Chromebooks due to the enhancement they provide in the learning environment and the increased communication students have with their teachers.

Aftercare & Tutoring

After-school Fine Arts Academy classes are offered for K3-12th grade students along with an after-school program for students in K3-8th grade.

Exciting Projects

A new indoor athletic facility is scheduled to open in June 2018. The facility will be used by multiple sports teams and for elementary school activities.

Extracurricular Activities

There are 45 clubs and organizations campus-wide along with four divisions in the fine arts program. Approximately 85% of students participate in at least one of the 15 sports programs.

The school was named a 2012 U.S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School and has had 60 National Merit Scholars.

College & Scholarship Outcomes

The class of 2017 had a 100-percent college acceptance rate and received more than $11 million in scholarship offers.

Limited tuition assistance is available with demonstrated financial need. For priority consideration, applications must be submitted by March 31.
