Mission Statement

It is the mission of J.A. Fair High School to create an environment that actively engages all students through a relevant and rigorous curriculum.

This effort will be supported through high expectations and working collectively and collaboratively with faculty, staff, parents, students and community support systems.

About the Campus

J.A. Fair College and Career Academies encompasses innovative technology.

The Environmental Science Academy supports a greenhouse, nature trail and community garden. The school is also known for its state-of-the-art informational broadcasting system.

The Academy of Sports Medicine allows students to train in-house for professions in the medical field.

School History

The school was named for James Augustus Fair, who spent his career as an educator and life-long board member.

Our students are currently expanding our broadcast capabilites and partnering with a local radio station to gain experience with the media.

Technology

Computer labs, iPad labs, Mac computer labs, Apple TVs and smart technology are used in every classroom with wireless connectivity.

A technology career academy provides students with personalized and supportive learning with emersion in 21st century skills.

Scholarships

Sixty-five percent of J.A Fair graduates attended post secondary education opportunities through two to four year colleges and universities. Of that 65 percent, 35 percent received scholarships in an excess of $2.8 million dollars, doubling the amount compared to previous years.
