Favorite Memory from High School: When my friends and I were founding members of the varsity softball team, before our first game, we chose our mascot by throwing plungers against a dry erase board. Pepé Le Pew, the plunger that stuck to the dry erase board, has become both our team's mascot and a source of inspiration in all of our games.

Tell us about the teacher, coach or administrator who made a difference in your life: Ms. Pettibone, my Spanish teacher and adviser, has shown me the beauty of the language and culture and introduced me to a passion that I will pursue throughout the rest of my life. She encourages me to be the best version of myself and keeps me positive with her advice, "a mal tiempo, buena cara," or, "in bad times, good face."
