Favorite memory from high school:

My favorite memory from high school was participating in our annual Cold War games during AP U.S. History, where each student was American or Soviet and battled for each other’s “lives,” or clothespins, by asking trivia questions. Being able to pull a victory and having the most clothespins was a glorious thing to experience, and was an exhilarating way to practice seemingly uninteresting material.

Tell us about the teacher, coach or administrator who made a difference in your life:

Joanna Ritchie, one of the engineering teachers at Bryant High School, has worked hard to help me achieve my goals and inspire me to continue my engineering education. She supported me and all of her students as she promoted the innovation and determination I needed to succeed.
