Career goal: I’d love to work at NASA or a private space program, such as Space X. I’d like to approach my passion for space from different perspectives. Currently, I am considering astrophysics and aerospace engineering. Space exploration is a possibility, of course.
Favorite memory from high school: As the president and founder of eStem’s first science club, I organized a field trip to the University of Arkansas to attend a lecture with Bill Nye the Science Guy. It was our very first off-campus event and thanks to Mack McLarty, I got to meet Bill Nye. Earlier that same year, I was privileged to meet Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson. It was surreal meeting both my science heroes.
