Those hours that you spend at the grocery store every week can soon be hours of free time thanks to a grocery delivery service that is coming to the Little Rock area this month.

Instacart lets shoppers hand pick and deliver items from local stores and is expanding into the Little Rock area beginning Aug. 15. Shoppers will be able to order from stores including Whole Foods Market, Natural Grocers, Petco, CVS and Kroger.

The best part? The groceries and other items can be delivered in as little as one hour.

Here's how Instacart works. Customers visit www.Instacart.com, create an account, select the store they'd like to shop at and start adding to the cart. As far as pricing, Instacart works with retailers to have the same prices as found in the physical store, but in some cases prices are higher. The delivery fee then depends on the size of the order and the delivery time.

Lots more information about how Instacart works is available here.

The service will be available beginning Aug. 15 for the following zip codes: 72011, 72015, 72019, 72002, 72103, 72206, 72207, 72227, 72211, 72205, 72223, 72212, 72202, 72204, 72201, 72022, 72210, 72209, 72032, 72106, 72199, 72117, 72114, 72113, 72034, 72116, 72120, 72118 and 72076.
