‘Stone Soup’ Closes the Season at Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre

by Alexis Crowe on 4/11/2018 10:00am

The final show of the season is taking the stage at the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre. "Stone Soup" will close out the spring before the exciting 2018-2019 season starts in the fall.

This classic story is full of earnest charm, playful imagination and heart-warming music.

One day, a lovable wanderer came upon a little house at the end of a long road. “Hello inside,” he called. “Is anyone home? I’m a hungry traveler who wants food to feed his tummy.” A little woman peeked out and smiled. Then she opened her door. Delighted, the traveler stepped inside to discover a treasure even more precious than a pot of delicious soup: he found a friend.

The Arkansas Arts Center’s production of "Stone Soup" was adapted from the folk tale and is directed by Keith Smith.

The show takes the stage every Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. from April 24-May 13. Tickets range from $10-$12.50. Click here for more information and to purchase tickets.
