“Stone Soup” at the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre: One day, a lovable wanderer came upon a little house at the end of a long road. A little woman peeked out and smiled. Then she opened her door. Delighted, the traveler stepped inside to discover a treasure even more precious than a pot of delicious soup: he found a friend. Earnest charm, playful imagination, and heart-warming music are the key ingredients in this fresh, nourishing new play. Arkansas Travelers Play at Dickey-Stephens Park: Take us out to the ballgame! The Travs are playing at home this weekend against Springfield. Friday's doubleheader starts with game number one at 5:10 p.m. On Saturday the game starts at 6:10 p.m. and Sunday's game at 2:10 p.m. is a Praise FM Family Game which means that the whole family gets into the stadium for $10 with a church bulletin. 2nd Saturday at the Little Rock Farmers Market: In addition to all the regular finds at the farmers market — from fruits and veggies to handmade trinkets — second Saturday is extra special! Shoppers will find a variety of special guests and activities from Rock City Rescue, Master Gardeners and UA-Puaski Tech Culinary School. Mommy & Me Yoga Class at Athleta: Kelly McCarty teaches a mommy & me yoga class at Athleta for Mother's Day Weekend starting at 9 a.m. The store will also doing crafts for the kids and providing drinks for moms to sip while they shop. 45th Annual Territorial Fair at Historic Arkansas: Adults and children of all ages can experience what life was like during Arkansas’s Territorial era through living history performances, live demonstrations and hands-on activities at this event. Activities occurring throughout the day include pioneer games and crafting, blacksmithing demonstrations, visiting animals from Heifer International, balloon art, live music and free Loblolly Creamery ice cream! North Little Rock Mini Maker Faire at the North Shore Riverwalk: This all-day event from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. combines science, art and technology to celebrate do-it-yourself creativity and tinkering. Part science fair, part county fair and part something entirely new, Maker Faire is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, entrepreneurs, engineers, authors, artists, students and commercial exhibitors. "A Moana Adventure on Ice" Spring Skating Show at the Arkansas Skatium: This Diamond Edge Figure Skating show featuring local talent and the music from "Moana." The show is suitable for all ages. Race to Remember 5K/Fun Run at War Memorial Stadium: It’s a celebration of life! Join hundreds of families as they remember precious babies and children gone too soon. The seventh annual event raises awareness of stillbirth, infant and child loss. The event from 4-6 p.m. features a 5K, fun run, cold drinks, activities for kids and a memorable balloon release. Tacos & Tianguis 2018 at Bernice Garden: Didn't get your fill of delicious Mexican food last weekend? Well head down to Bernice Gardne for delicious food, live music and cultural crafts by and for the immigrant community El Zócalo serves. Food will include tacos, tamales and pupusas for $2-$3 a piece, as well as snacks, sweets and drinks. Mother’s Day Lake Cruises at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: Treat mom to a relaxing boat ride on beautiful Lake Maumelle near the base of Pinnacle Mountain. Spend the afternoon together as a family and enjoy the beauty of waterfowl, bald eagles and gorgeous greenery along the water’s edge. Registration and advance payment and registration are required. Cruises are approximately an hour and a half long and start at 1, 3 and 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday at the Jolly Rogers Marina. The cost is $15 for adults and $8 for children ages 6-12. Raiders of the Lost Ark: In Concert at the Robinson Center: Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Associate Conductor, Geoffrey Robson, takes the baton and leads the orchestra through John Williams's score to the popular film, which will be shown live and in high definition above the orchestra. Shows start at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets start at $15 and are available on the ASO's website.

Mother's Day Brunch at the Zoo: Treat mom to a special Mother's Day Brunch a the Little Rock Zoo and celebrate all Zoo moms! Admission to enjoy the Zoo is included in the price of each ticket.
