Little Rock Night Market at Bernice Garden: This brand new event, which was rescheduled from earlier this month, aims to provide a platform for local chefs, startups, artists, and entrepreneurs to showcase their imagination and encourage shoppers to buy local. Superhero Dash-N-Bash at War Memorial Stadium: Grab your capes and running shoes for a fundraising event to benefit Arkansas Children's Hospital. At the fifth annual Dash-N-Bash, 100 percent of proceeds go to the Hematology/Oncology Department. The event from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. will feature food, music, bounce houses, superheroes, a balloon release, victory walk and more. Adult registration is $25 and registration for kids 12 and under is $15. Acansa Children's Art Day at Hillary Rodham Clinton Children's Library: Kids can try hands-on arts and crafts and check out mobile exhibits and demonstrations from the Arkansas Arts Center ArtMobile, the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub Mobile MakerSpace, and the Museum of Discovery's "Awesome Science." Barnaroo at Heifer Village and Urban Farm: Head to the barnyard at Heifer International for a celebration of international transFARMations! Enjoy hands-on crafts for kids and adults, engage in international activities, meet the cutest barnyard of animals and try a variety of international foods. Festival in the Park at Two Rivers Park: The festival will feature activities including bounce houses, a 40-foot maze, a construction zone and hero zone. Attendees are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends for a pet parade and “Wizard of Oz”-themed dog costume contest. Turkish Food Festival at the Rain Drop Foundation: Sample and enjoy rich Mediterranean and central Asian cuisines including kebabs, gyros, kofta, a variety of desserts and more. Peruse handmade gifts and souvenirs and watch Turkish artists hand crafting Ebru (water marbling) and tile painting. Night of Praise Supporting the Arkansas Pregnancy Resource Center at First Security Amphitheater: Bring your family and friends and join the Arkansas Pregnancy Resource Center for a Night of Praise! From 5-8:30 p.m., local churches will provide entertainment with worship music on the riverfront and there will be a barbecue dinner catered by John 3:16 Ministries. IndiaFest 2018 at the River Market Pavilions: Celebrate Indian culture and food at this free outdoor festival. Food for this event will be cooked by local Indian families who are enthusiastic about presenting unique flavors of different regions of India to the people of Arkansas. Princess Tea Party at The Castle on Stagecoach: Guests can dress in their fanciest princess attire and enjoy a ride in a horse-drawn carriage from the parking lot to the castle. Each child will take a photo with either Cinderella, Beauty or Sleeping Beauty and receive a tiara and wand before enjoying a three-course tea. Half-Price Days at Rhea Lana's Consignment Event in Maumelle: Discount shoppers, get your shopping bags ready. Rhea Lana's is a consignment sale offering gently used children's items, maternity clothes, toys and more. Admission and parking are free. “Curious George: The Golden Meatball” at the Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theatre: Look out! Curious George is buzzing and bouncing with excitement. The Man with the Yellow Hat can hardly keep up. And why is this mischievous monkey so wound up? Because it’s Meatball Day! Hang out with your favorite monkey at the season opener at the Children’s Theatre.
