Friday

Whole Foods Kids Club at Whole Foods Market: Enjoy a free snack, visit with a special guest, make a craft and listen to a story read aloud. The fun starts at 10 a.m. Visit the website for more information. FREE!

Saturday

Fancyful Princess Ball: Visit with 10 fairytale princesses at this event, desgined for for children ages 3-8. Little attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite princess dress or costume and adults are welcome to dress in their "fancy" attire as well. Guests will get enjoy a dance performance by the princesses, take pictures at the photo booth, meet and greet the princesses and more. Two balls take place at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the Junior League of Little Rock. Tickets are $49. Click here for more information.

Star Party at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: Weather permitting, you can try your hand at amateur astronomy from one of the region's best viewing spots. Telescopes will be provided by the Central Arkansas Astronomical Society and the fun starts at 8:30 p.m. For more info, click here. FREE!

35th Annual Fish Fry at Camp Aldersgate: At Camp Aldersgate's signature event, enjoy delicious catfish and kids can try their hand in a fishing derby while the family all enjoys live entertainment. Proceeds from the event go toward the camp's programs for youth with special needs or medical conditions, as well as senior adults. The fry starts at 11:30 a.m. For more info, click here.

Fall Canoe Float at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: There's no better way to spend the day than out on the water! Paddle your way through Pinnacle’s majestic lowland river while viewing large cypress trees and a variety of wildlife. Advance payment and registration required; $40 per canoe. Pumpkin Festival at the Bernice Garden: Celebrate all things pumpkin at this special edition of the weekly farmers market! Buy pumpkins, try your hand at pumpkin-carving and painting, watch cooking demos, enjoy pumpkin food and drink and more. The festival goes from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For more info, click hereFREE!

Arkansas State Fair in Little Rock: Is it really fall if you haven't gone to the state fair? Enjoy tons of carnival rides, visit farm animals, watch a rodeo, and fill up with fried food. Click here for information on all the attractions, entertainment, ticket prices, food and more. Magic Screams at Magic Springs & Crystal Falls: Get spooked on one of the many park rides, stock up on treats along the trick-or-treat trail, showcase your creativity in the family costume contest, visit haunted houses and more. Magic Screams takes place from noon-11 p.m. Saturday and noon-9 p.m. Sunday.  Tickets are $24.99 when purchased online and $29.99 when purchased at the gate.
