Chili Fights in the Heights: Welcome in cool fall weather with this cozy and tasty event. Chili Fights in the Heights is a neighborhood festival with two purposes: to have fun and to raise money for the Arkansas Foodbank. Family Craft Activities at the Clinton Center: The Clinton Center will host free family craft activities in conjunction with the current temporary exhibit, "The White House Collection of American Crafts: 25th Anniversary Exhibit,” and in partnership with the Arkansas Arts Center. Enjoy knitting and basket weaving tutorials for visitors of all ages from 1-3 p.m. Activities are free and open to the public, but admission fees are required to tour the museum. Fall Foliage Cruise on Lake Maumelle: Want to go out on the water but don't want to do the paddling? A park interpreter will guide your cruise on the park’s pontoon boat to view the beautiful landscapes, historic structures, and the lake’s wildlife all in the beauty of the changing leaves and vibrant colors along the water.
